I knit. It's relaxing, soothing, and calming. It's also frustrating and expensive, but I try to not dwell on the negative.
I knit, but to be honest, I really haven't made anything. I go through phases. First, when I was learning, I had my scarf phase. Next was my sweater phase (lasted VERY briefly) which resulted in my first UFO. I entered the dreaded dish/washcloth phase and made a bunch of cloths which we actually needed, so that was good. Then I learned about amigurumi and started knitting toys and other unnecessary objects (my anatomical heart is pathetic, but at least it's done). I've tried learning how to crochet and somehow, by some freak occurrence, I made a Barbie-sized cowboy hat (this is from someone who can't crochet 2 even rows). That fell to the wayside and for a while I didn't do much of anything. Then I decided on knitting bags and felting.
